Mitre are looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager - supporting the growth of the Health and Social Care sector by increasing the revenue contribution from both Customer Development through improving customer engagement with our products and services and New Business through networking and cold sales activity. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for a selection of non-spending accounts as agreed with the National Account Manager, as well new business accounts which you bring on-board; the key aim is to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and business revenue requirements.  You will ensure our systems, processes and people are connected together and optimised to deliver a quality service to our customers and achieve required targets (KPI, revenue and margin).Working to agreed activity and targets to maximise opportunities wherever possible. There is masses of opportunity for growth in this area as the team continues to grow.

Role is field based - Fully remote hours are flexible 38.75 hours over 5 days 
£28k Basic - £34k OTE
 
What will I be doing as an Business Development Manager? 
  • Contribute to the customer management strategy and focus on improving engagement with our customers
  • Driving sales results
  • Analysing data and focusing on areas of non or low spend across existing accounts
  • You will also be required to contribute towards the company strategy on how we market to our new and existing customers in order to exceed annual budgets
  • Keeping up to date and ahead of our competition by conducting the relevant research
  • Attend events and exhibitions in order to become immersed in the Health and Social Care Sector
  • Identify opportunities and a strategy to target them
  • Influencing Senior Stakeholders
  • Travel throughout the UK will be essential, with occasional over night stays
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved in all our dealings with the customer base
  • Manage customer expectation in terms of delivery, installation and billing to ensure our commitment to the customer
  • Manage the process from initial visit to installation for soft furnishings projects
