Key Account Manager

National Account Manager

Reporting to the National Account Controller, you’ll look after an entire sector across the whole of the UK.

This is a purely strategic account management role, usually dealing with the head office for a major customer, such as a leisure company or a pub group. So, you’ll enjoy a level of independence, which means you need to be a self-motivated, well-organised team player.

National Account Manager

Regional Sales Manager

You’ll be supporting Key Account Managers in meeting their targets and delivering the numbers. This includes recruiting and developing the right people so we continue to build on our position as the UK’s leading catering services supplier.

Training and development

To make sure you have all the skills you need to make the most of your potential, we’ll encourage you to drive your own development and plan your career path but all with the support of those around you.

With a combination of classroom-based and on-the-job training, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to build your knowledge of our products and develop your sales skills. You’ll be allocated a buddy to support you through your learning and development and your managers will provide side-by-side training.

Sales Training

Our sales training courses are designed to bring out the best in you, so you can become a high performing sales professional. They cover a range of skills, including unleashing high performance, field sales, influencing and negotiating, successful questioning and using language to build a rapport.

We work closely with our colleagues in the contact centre to identify potential sales people and also have a great track record of developing our own National Account Managers, Key Account Managers and Business Sector Managers.

My career story

Chris Clark, Regional Sales Manager

I didn’t know anything about Nisbets when I joined. But now, I love everything about working here – the people, the company ethics and the positive environment. Ever since I started, I’ve seen the company grow from strength to strength. In fact, I’ve seen some big changes over the years. It’s kept it exciting and kept me excited on what’s next to come. I’ve loved every minute of my Nisbets journey so far and hope it continues in the years to come.

My career story

Laura Seward, Internal Sales Support Team Leader

What originally attracted me to Nisbets was that I’d heard great things about them as an employer – particularly that there was a real fun family feel to the company. For me, the best thing about working here is all about the people. There’s a great company culture – we work hard, but we play hard, too! This means people really like working with each other, so it’s just a really enjoyable place to work.

My career story

Rupert Porter, Key Account Manager - London Restaurants

I really enjoy the amount of freedom and responsibility Nisbets give you, as well as the opportunities to visit and build relationships with a range of customers. In my job, it’s rewarding to help people with their livelihoods, see their businesses grow and be a part of it. It’s also a privilege to visit some of the most glamorous restaurants that London has to offer. There's a real community feel at Nisbets and if you know what direction you want your career to go in, there's a lot of opportunity to progress.
