Business Sector Assistant

In this entry level role, you’ll be managing set accounts day-to-day, building and maintaining relationships with customers and influencing their spend with us. This will involve calling customers to give quotes and gain sales opportunities, as well as answering calls and emails from a range of customers.

With plenty of opportunities to progress through an established personal development plan, you’ll be in control of just how quickly you build your career with us.

You’ll be the strategic manager for a specific sector. As a strong people manager, you’ll provide motivational leadership, including carrying out performance reviews, one-to-one coaching and annual appraisals.

This will involve holding monthly sector reviews with Senior Business Sector Managers and the Head of Key Accounts. You’ll play a strategic role, ensuring you have enough resources to meet targets as well as supporting with the recruitment of new team members

Dealing with a range of around 250 accounts across different sectors in a specific region, you’ll work with everyone from major brands to small independent businesses.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll enjoy the account management challenge of building strong relationships with a range of customers, with the potential and scope to build new business.

National Account Manager

Reporting to the National Account Controller, you’ll look after an entire sector across the whole of the UK.

This is a purely strategic account management role, usually dealing with the head office for a major customer, such as a leisure company or a pub group. So, you’ll enjoy a level of independence, which means you need to be a self-motivated, well-organised team player.

You’ll be supporting Key Account Managers in meeting their targets and delivering the numbers. This includes recruiting and developing the right people so we continue to build on our position as the UK’s leading catering services supplier. 

This means you’ll need to be an accomplished people manager, with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor your team to achieve excellent performance.

To make sure you have all the skills you need to make the most of your potential, we’ll encourage you to drive your own development and plan your career path but all with the support of those around you.

With a combination of classroom-based and on-the-job training, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to build your knowledge of our products and develop your sales skills. You’ll be allocated a buddy to support you through your learning and development and your managers will provide side-by-side training.

Sales Training

Our sales training courses are designed to bring out the best in you, so you can become a high performing sales professional. They cover a range of skills, including unleashing high performance, field sales, influencing and negotiating, successful questioning and using language to build a rapport.

We work closely with our colleagues in the contact centre to identify potential sales people and also have a great track record of developing our own National Account Managers, Key Account Managers and Business Sector Managers.
