Web Content/ Copywriting Team Leader – Avonmouth, Bristol
About the role
Working within our-Commerce department you will manage the optimisation and enrichment of web copy throughout all of our websites. Using analytical tools to monitor performance of traffic to all sites and drive improved ranking and conversion, whilst ensuring high quality copywriting standards are met.
You will supervise a team of 8 online copywriters and oversee all content creation, ensuring it is written using best SEO practises. You will also drive through the enrichment of long product descriptions to improve rank performance (FAB), giving customer confidence and aiming to increase conversion.
Commerciality is key in the role so it is important you are able to identify industry trends, developing our fully briefed content plan, maintaining our strength of knowledge and authority on industry related topics.
To apply for this role you will have a strong copywriting background, ideally within an ecommerce business, and developed SEO skills. You will also have experience of leading and managing a team with the ability to successfully manage a team's workload and ensuring that deadlines are consistently met. You will also be proficient with Google Analytics, IBM Coremetrics and ahrefs and have a strong working knowledge of HTML.
