User Experience (UX) - Designer

About the role

We are looking for a talented UX Designer to join our Bristol based Ecommerce team. You'll be a champion of the customer, have a passion for creating digital products that our customers will love and which supports our strategic objectives.

You’ll be responsible for translating analysis, user research and new business requirements into world class digital experiences that consistently reflect our brand values across our global digital assets. You’ll be a creative thinker with excellent problem solving skills and will work closely with our digital analysts to produce simple, engaging and pragmatic design solutions, expertly balancing our user’s needs and business requirements against technical constraints.

You must have solid commercial experience of wire-framing and prototyping, with demonstrable experience in creating high quality user journeys and UIs and be comfortable presenting your work to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About you

To succeed as a UX Designer you'll be able to demonstrate a data and research driven approach, with a good understanding of how both analytics tools and user research can inform your designs. You’ll have experience and understanding of  traditional and emerging web technologies, front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS or JS and user centred design principles.

You'll also be a creative thinker and problem solver, able to produce new ideas and concepts, balance user, business and technical requirements to provide the best solutions and to produce high-quality UX outputs such as wireframes, interactive prototypes, user journeys and associated documentation.
