About the role
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the management of projects, typically also involving the development and implementation of new business processes to meet identified business needs, identifying, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, to deliver end to end solutions within agreed cost, timescales, effort and quality.
Other aspects of the role will include defining the managing the change control process and ensuring project deliverables are completed within agreed cost and timeline. You will identify, assess and mitigate against any project risks and maintain realistic project plans. With developed communication skills you will update all relevant parties regularly. You will also be responsible for the adoption and adaptation of project management methodologies based on the context of the individual project, selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
To apply for this role you will have previous experience from within a similar role managing medium to large projects in a technology environment with direct responsibility for resources allocated. You will also have experience and knowledge of project management tools (e.g. Workfront, Microsoft Project etc) and be comfortable running stakeholder meetings with colleagues of all levels. You will be comfortable working under pressure and be able to successfully prioritise workloads based on urgency and importance.
