Inbound Service Advisor  – Avonmouth, Bristol

About the role

Nisbets has an exciting opportunity to join our Service department as a Service Advisor. As the Service Advisor, you will be part of a team providing high quality after-sales service for the thousands of machine products that we sell.

We carry out installations, we repair machines both on-site and back in our workshop, we manage all customer machine returns and we liaise closely with 3rd party Service Providers working on our behalf.

This opportunity would suit someone with previous experience of providing excellent customer service as you will be dealing directly with customers - logging their calls, providing ETAs, resolving basic user faults and routing all the various queries through to the correct teams.

Responsibilities include; 

  • To act as the first point of contact for customers and to take responsibility for processing calls through to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • To resolve customer issues over the phone thereby avoiding the need to send an engineer to site or to collect an item for repair (training provided).
  • To liaise with internal colleagues and Service partners to resolve customer queries in a timely manner.
  • To undertake additional Service activities as requested by the Service Team Leader.

About you

As the Inbound Service Advisor; 

  • You’ll have previous experience of working within a phone based/ office environment
  • You’ll have an excellent telephone manner and thrive on providing strong customer service
  • You will be computer literate and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office programs
  • You’ll have good verbal and written communication skills
