About the role
In this brand new role you will lead our digital content strategy, plan and implementation ensuring we take a best in class approach and maximise our customers' experience whilst delivering against financial targets. This global role will focus on our UK sites but also those for our operations in Europe and ANZ.
The key accountabilities of the role will include leading the development and implementation of an online merchandising and content plan that transforms the customer experience and commercial results, leading a content team that puts analysis and growth at the core of what they do and managing the deliver of results through the online platform according to the agreed trading strategy constantly monitoring performance and taking corrective action as neccessary.
Reporting to the Ecommerce and Digital Director the role will work closely with our leadership team particularly the Head of Category Management to ensure we build cohesive plans that prioritise and align plans and resources.
To apply for this role you will have extensive digital content experience from within a multi-sku (5,000+) environment. This may be B2B or within retail. You will have a track record of delivering significant change within a digital environment and be an engaging and charismatic leader able to take a team on the journey with you. You will have experience of working in a global business with a matrix management environment and have knowledge of working with product information management systems.
You will have knowledge of best in class merchandising and taxonomy and be keen to make real change within a business on an exciting growth path in the UK and internationally.
