Finance Business Partner (x3) - Avonmouth, Bristol

About the role

We are looking for three commercially focused Finance Business Partner to work closely with defined business areas.  One will work closely with our operations and warehousing departments, one with our marketing and ecommerce teams and the final position to support out category management department. 

In these roles you will act as a key stakeholder in the decision-making process by providing risk-adjusted financial and operational insight and analysis to your stakeholders.  You will work closely with your business units whilst also challenging them and providing evidence to help them make key strategic decisions. 

The primary duties of the roles will be-

  • Identifying, selecting and developing appropriate metrics to support both gross margin projects and monitor functional performance
  • Acting as the gatekeeper of financial performance for your function by using existing reporting and stimulating ‘so what’ debate to enable forward-looking action
  • Providing effective commercial procedures and initiating change where necessary to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
  • Co-ordinating the effort between Finance and the wider business to enable successful business change
  • Championing the delivery of value adding activity and acting as a catalyst in driving forward initiatives critical to delivering our strategy
  • Improving the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance, standardising and simplifying reporting and associated processes wherever possible

About you

To apply for our Finance Business Partner roles, you will be a fully qualified accountant with demonstrable success of providing commercial insight to make a real impact within an organisation.  You will have developed communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience in an engaging way. 

To apply for this role your experience and skills will include-

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Commerciality with the ability to understand the positive impact of making change
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong data manipulation skills with the talent to use data to effectively provide business insight
