Digital Product Manager - eProcurement
About the role
In this new role you will lead and own the digital plan and roadmap for our existing eprocurement tools and develop the longer term positioning and plan for yielding more innovation and growth.
You will lead the roadmap of digital developments balancing customer insight and the commercial KPIs you will be responsible for. You will orchestrate the chance and lead a multi discipline team to deliver a plan that drives performance and customer experience.
Other aspects of the role will include -
•Develop and implement a short term plan that capitalises on the existing tools available and at the same time create a long term plan that will lead to innovation on line and increase our competitive advantage
•Putting the customer at the centre, understand customer requirements and translate into actionable programme of site improvements
•Ensure that Nisbets is leading the way and developing commercial advantage by understanding our competitors offer and those adjacent businesses we can learn from
•Responsible for ensuring business, quality and functional goals are met with each release
•Maintaining and prioritising backlog of user stories for implementation, focusing on maximising business value with appropriately detailed specifications which are clearly understood by the development team members
•Facilitate and capture business requirements from various stakeholders
•Working within agile structure to brief requirements into UX / Dev / QA team members, to define sprints / release plan and scope with Tech lead, with clearly defined acceptance criteria per feature.
•Translating team status updates for broader audiences across the business,ensuring all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle
•Work with QA to facilitate bug triage meetings
•Being accountable for the created product(s) from concept to end of life support
To apply for this role you will have experience of operating in an E led procurement development role as well as being commercially astute. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally.
