Digital Analyst - European Sites

In this interesting and challenging role you’ll be working as part of our high performing digital marketing team within the ecommerce department.  You’ll have your finger on the pulse of our European websites trading results day to day.  The European suite of websites covers Belgium, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France and Holland. 

In this highly versatile role each day will be different; from analysing sales driven by carousel banners to identifying sales trends and customer behaviour whilst working to optimise user journeys and online visual merchandising.  

As Digital Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Optimising trading destinations through the site including the Product Pages, Product Recommendations and Static Pages and Homepage (e.g.Carousel Banners, Hero Promotions)
  • Identifying patterns in customer behaviour and segments and communicating these insights so that appropriate action can be taken
  • Working alongside category merchandising and the promotions team to share knowledge about current trading trends and previous campaigns to drive positive growth in all future activities
  • Building on the product recommendation strategies and development of new recommendation widgets
  • Championing on-site search and merchandising, reviewing taxonomy and product hierarchies

To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator, you will be working closely with several teams around the business including our European offices therefore an understanding of a European language would be advantageous but is not essential. 

You will be passionate about digital marketing and driving sales across a European platform.  You will have previous ecommerce experience, potentially from within a merchandising role, and be looking to move in to a more analytical, data driven role.
