Credit Controller - Avonmouth, Bristol
About the role
We are looking to recruit a new member of our busy Credit Control team. In the role you will have responsibility for an allotted section of customers and you will accurately maintain that section. This will include chasing overdue debt, reviewing credit limits and releasing customer orders where possible. Key skills required for the role include an excellent and professional telephone manner, strong numerical skills, tenacity and Excel skills.
Other aspects of the role will include; ensuring that any customer that hits their previously agreed credit limit is escalated to the team leader for review, and that it is actioned within our next day KPI and ensuring that all customer accounts are kept up to date, keeping all funds allocated in accordance with the customer’s wishes. It is a busy, high volume department which will involve outbound calls to customers where overdue balances exist.
To apply for this role you will have previous credit control experience ideally from within a high volume environment. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a professional telephone manner and strong customer service skills. You will also be able to multi-task with the ability to successfully prioritise your workload.
